Introducing Debbie Hanson

Debbie Hanson is the founder of Wildfire Resilient Landscapes and provides independent consulting focused on environmental program development, strategic analysis, and resilience planning.

She holds a Master of Public Administration from California State University, Northridge, with graduate work focused on nonprofit sustainability, governance, and environmental systems. Her work examines how community, environmental, and organizational factors shape long-term resilience.

Through Wildfire Resilient Landscapes, Debbie has developed environmental project concepts, conducted grant alignment research, and secured early-stage funding to support organizational growth. Her work focuses on planning-level design, funding strategy, and building the structural foundations needed to move ideas toward implementation.

Her approach combines public administration training, environmental systems perspective, and practical experience in building a mission-driven organization.
