Our Story
Wildfire Resilient Native Plants Nursery is in its early stages, with a clear mission: to provide California homeowners, landscapers, and communities with fire-smart, drought-tolerant native plants and trees that reduce wildfire risk and restore ecological balance.
Where We Are Now
We are building our foundation by sourcing seeds, testing propagation methods, and preparing to offer native plant and tree seeds as our first products. Starting with seeds enables us to begin supporting fire-resilient landscaping now, while we expand toward full-scale production of plants and trees.
Our Vision
As the nursery grows, our offerings will include a diverse selection of trees, shrubs, and grasses chosen for their:
- Fire resistance – Plants and trees that help slow the spread of flames.
- Drought tolerance – Species adapted to California’s dry climate.
- Ecological value – Natives that provide habitat for pollinators, birds, and wildlife.
Looking Ahead
In the near future, Wildfire Resilient Native Plants Nursery will move from seed sales to container-grown plants and young trees suitable for residential gardens, community greening projects, and ecological restoration efforts. Our goal is to become a trusted source for fire-smart landscaping across Southern California and beyond by helping communities build landscapes that are both beautiful and resilient.

Goal 1: Seed and Nursery
Our Growth Plan
Wildfire Resilient Native Plants Nursery (WRN) is growing step by step. Here’s how we plan to build capacity over time:
- Phase 1 (Now–2026): Small propagation experiments in patio containers and partnerships with community gardens.
- Phase 2 (2026–2028): Launch a pilot nursery producing 500–1,000 plants per year.
- Phase 3 (2028–2030): Expand to 2,500–5,000 plants annually and add small nursery infrastructure.
- Phase 4 (2030+): Full nursery with capacity to supply communities, landscapers, and restoration projects.
Together, these phases move us from tiny beginnings to a community resource for fire-smart native plants.
